Providence is calling a Registered Nurse to Providence Medical Group Orenco Medical Clinic in Hillsboro, OR.
This busy clinic is based in Hillsboro, Oregon and offers a rewarding opportunity for an RN experienced in Family Medicine, wound care and a passion for phone triage!
You will function as the primary RN with the support of a Nursing Quality Supervisor in this fast-paced clinic setting. Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:0pm
In this position, you will:
Be the professional responsible for facilitating the patient care flow in the clinic while providing direct patient care for an assigned provider.
Facilitate the workflow in the area by conducting nursing assessments and documentation.
Contribute expertise in the areas of patient scheduling, telephone advice and pharmacy needs.
Assist with maintaining compliance to professional nursing standards and regulatory requirement s and will support physicians in delivering quality health care to patients taking into account the patients' individual physical or age-related needs.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications for this position include:
College degree in nursing
Current unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification
Skills assessing vital signs, providing direct patient care, managing time effectively, and practicing safety techniques
Knowledge of age-specific care for geriatric, adult, young adults, and pediatric patients applicable to clinic setting
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
1 year of related experience in an ambulatory setting or a medical office
Supervisory experience
