Description: Dungarvin is at present recruited Caregiver~Come Grow with Us~Full-time positions available right now, this position will be situated in Oregon. Dungarvin is a GROWING nationwide agency that provides daily supports for individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities.
Here in Lane County, Oregon, we have 11 group homes throughout the Eugene/Springfield area and we are always looking for compassionate, driven and dependable employees with the desire to assist the people we support in reaching their goals and leading a high quality of life.

Qualifications:
Successful candidate will also have computer experience and possess good oral and written communication skills. Some experience in social, human services, caregiving or medical field is desired but not required.
Some sites require an ability to work with people with challenging behaviors. However, Dungarvin provides extensive training courses that will give employees the knowledge needed to provide positive behavioral supports.
Additional Requirements include:
Driver's license and an acceptable driving history (no more than 2 minor traffic violations and no major violations in the past 3 years). You will drive company van as needed.
18 years or older.
High school diploma/GED.
Acceptable criminal background check.
Dungarvin Direct Support Professionals provide assistance with daily activities such as:
Performing household duties
Cooking
Shopping
Positive behavior support
Basic life skills coaching
Medication administration
Personal hygiene
Personal cares
Bathing
Changing clothes
Community activities and outings
Dungarvin provides paid, on-the-job training.
Full-time, part-time, and on-call positions are available for day, swing and overnight shifts. At the time of the interview, you will be able to discuss the location, hours, and shift availability as well as your preferences.
