WILLAMETTE SURGERY CENTER

We seek operating room registered nurses to join our team!

We seek dynamic, quality-focused registered nurses to scrub and circulate in our fast-paced a nd high volume ambulatory surgical center. Our operating room RNs provide nursing care to patients during the intraoperative phase; performing nursing activities in the OR, perform as the patient’s advocate, and directly assist our surgeons.

General Responsibilities:

ï‚· Is the patient advocate actively observing and monitoring the operating room

ï‚· Acts as intermediary between the operating room and other surgery center staff

ï‚· Assess safety level, physical and emotional status of patient

ï‚· Verify surgical site ensuring it is sterile and safe for patient

ï‚· Assists with the preparation, management and cleanup of surgical procedures

ï‚· Directly assist the surgeons and be actively involved in the operation

ï‚· Fulfills patient needs by assisting physician and person responsible for anesthesia care

Our ideal candidate has:

ï‚· Oregon RN license in good standing

ï‚· Minimum 2 years recent professional nu rsing experience, scrubbing and/or circulating

ï‚· Prior professional experience in an ambulatory surgical center

ï‚· Preference given to EHR experience

ï‚· Current ACLS/PALS certification

ï‚· Demonstrated attention to detail

ï‚· Superior customer service skills

ï‚· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with compassion and empathy
